If you are new to St Peter’s this is a great way to meet people. 
Also, please enter your details in the ‘Welcome’ book in the foyer and someone from our Welcoming group will be in contact with you.

Parishioners and friends of St Peter’s . . . if you would like a Mass offered for your deceased loved one or for a special intention etc please note that for weekend Masses you need to book approximately 6 weeks in advance and around a month for weekday Masses.

As many people are booking well in advance the date you require may still not be available.

Baptism Preparation for October

Baptism preparation is held on the first Thursday of each month at 7.30pm in the foyer. All who apply to have their child baptised in the parish are expected to attend preparation.

Baptisms are celebrated every Sunday at 1.00pm every Sunday.

Sacramental/Faith Formation Program
This is for all children (including Government School children) who have not received the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation and also for children to generally help in their faith formation.

Australians are asked to help fight poverty and hardship

This year, Anti-Poverty Week is being coordinated by Jesuit Social services and Melbourne City Mission.

Communications & Media Coordinator at Jesuit Social Services, Mr Renouf, said, “A lot of other weeks are based around raising money or one particular issue. But Anti-Poverty Week is quite broad: it tries to get people talking about poverty and raise awareness that poverty exists in so many forms.”

As part of the week, several agencies of the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne have organised for the Good Shepherd Trading Circle to sell their wares at the Cardinal Knox Centre, corner Lansdowne & Albert Sts, East Melbourne on Wednesday 14 October from 12pm to 2pm. A large selection of goods will be for sale, including relishes, clothing, toys, cards and jewellery, all made by women who have been affected by human trafficking.

We meet every Wednesday night commencing with Adoration at 7.00pm to 7.15pm in the chapel and then proceed to the Community Centre. 

Every 3rd Saturday 7.00p.m. is the Youth Mass at St. Peter’s. Come and join us we’d love to see you there.
Kephas Music Ministry practice for the Mass is at 6.15p.m. in the church.
